History
Art and history's roots run deep in Mississippi's Gulf Coast. George E. Ohr, the renowned "Mad Potter", was native to Biloxi. His unique pottery is noted throughout the art world. Beauvoir, the Jefferson Davis Home & Presidential Library is also located in Biloxi and will reopen after extensive renovations in summer of 2008. Gulfport is home to CEC & Seabee Memorial Museum.

Prime Outlets in Gulfport offers over 80 famous, brand name stores offering outlet prices. Crossroads Mall has over 600,000 square feet of shopping. Throughout Harrison County, there are numerous charming specialty boutiques and antiques stores. For those who are searching for unique items, both Gulfport and Pass Christian have a couple of flea markets.
