Hurricane Katrina has destroyed the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum but a new Museum will be rebuilding on Highway 90 next door to the Ohr O’Keefe Museum of Art and the directors of the museum are currently meeting with an architectural firm for design of the new museum! The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum was established in 1986 to preserve and interpret the maritime history and heritage of Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Rebuilding is now underway.
